Eat Your Memories
Nana's Sunday roast with all the trimmings, rice bubble square, or the double-scoop hokey pokey ice cream dripping down your arm at the beach. This nostalgic edible experience crowd-sourced foodie flashbacks and turned them into a six-course delectable degustation.

This Kitchen Takeover event turned Kiwi childhood classics into dishes so memorable that they transported diners to another era. Mum I dropped my ice cream, with cereal milk ice cream. Or 'fish and chips' - sous vide monkfish, duck fat chips and edible sand. Vintage styling added to the experience, with a macrame arch entrance and hand crochet placemats.

“This is an amazing experience put together by someone who is passionate about food and the whole dining experience. A once in a lifetime experience not to be missed.” Yolande Fenneman
Amazing food and all done with such style. I’m hooked!” Kat Sutherland

Shane Yardley was the chef for this event. Shane has ladlefuls of talent, serving as Simon Gault's right hand man, head cheffing at venues such as Euro and Fish.
